yes i have had problems with external also. i only mess with internal now. Some people have told me they burn out hella fast sometimes. Sometimes they will work for 10 years and sometimes they will work for 5 months. It's a shitty experience if u you tell me. i have like 10 hard drives laying around my house that need fixin up. I have a lot of data on it but it's all older music that i'm sick of. It would be nice to grab all that info off of it though. SO yes external is rough. If i were u homie, just stick with internal. trust me on that. i have had my issues with external myself.
