Troubled rapper DMX helped Iyanla Vanzant kick off the new season of her Fix My Life show on the OWN network opening up about his troubles with women and drugs. Knowing is half the battle and it seems like DMX at least realizes that he does have a problem….check out a clip from the intense episode for yourself above where he talks to his son. Here’s what his representative had to say:

“DMX agreed to be a guest on ‘Iyanla: Fix My Life’ with the understanding that she would be helping his relationships with his 10 children. When he arrived for the taping, most of the content was focused on his struggles with drugs and poor parenting. Iyanla did not ‘fix’ DMX’s life just made his image worse, and does not have DMX’s personal written consent to use the footage.“
